Nusa Penida East and West Island Trip Combo

Tree House or Rumah Pohon is a dreamy and whimsical spot on Nusa Penida Island. While it started as a gorgeous and hidden place to camp for the night, it has now become a popular place to visit and a photography hot-spot. our next stop will be at Thousand Island Viewpoint. The Thousand Island Viewpoint (Pulau Seribu) is a spectacular spot located on Nusa Penida, an island off the southeast coast of Bali. This cliff-side viewpoint offers panoramic views of the surrounding small islands or ‘thousand islands’, hence the name. From here, you can see the turquoise blue sea, dramatic cliff formations, lush green vegetation, and if you look closely, you can spot the iconic Raja Lima Islands and Atuh Beach.

Diamond Beach, named after the pointy diamond shaped rock on the beach, is another utterly incredible ‘cliff beach’ on the south coast of Nusa Penida island by Bali, Indonesia. It’s probably the most favorite beach. not far from diamond beach still located at east part of the island we will be visit Atuh Beach. Atuh Beach on Nusa Penida or Pantai Atuh as it’s known in Bahasa, is one of the most epic beaches in Nusa Penida, Bali. It’s a rough drive and a short hike down to the beach but it’s an incredible little bay, making it worth the effort! Some of the photos in this post were taken at high tide and others at low tide. You will notice the difference.

Kelingking Beach is a breathtaking rocky cliff in the ocean. I had the opportunity to visit for the first time in April 2017, nearly two years after my initial trip to Nusa Penida. At the time, the area was quite secluded… Although it became more crowded with tourists by 2019, it is once again a great time to visit. It is truly spectacular and definitely worth the journey.
Kelingking Beach is one of the most famous spot of Nusa Penida, often featured in advertisements for Bali and Indonesia. Its unique rock formations resemble the backbone of a dinosaur and it’s even nicknamed T-Rex Bay on Google Maps. From the top of the cliff, visitors may even spot Manta rays.
Tourists flock to the esplanade for breathtaking views and drone photography. The popularity of Kelingking Beach has greatly contributed to the tourist growth of Nusa Penida island, particularly through social media. Interestingly, “Kelingking” also means pinky finger in Indonesian, but the reason behind it requires a little imagination.

Broken Beach or Pasih Uwung Located in Nusa Penida, Bali, Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong are two of the most breathtaking natural wonders you will ever encounter. Although I first visited these sites in November 2015, during my second trip to Nusa Penida, I was astounded by their beauty. The road to these destinations was challenging back then, fortunately, it has since been greatly improved.
Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong are some of Nusa Penida‘s must-visit sites, situated on the southwestern coast of the island near Crystal Bay. Formerly notorious for its terrible road conditions, the route is now much better. Only the last hundred meters serves as a reminder of the past. Those who want a challenge can hike from Crystal Bay to Broken Beach. But the trail can be difficult to locate and can take up to two hours to traverse. Known as Pasih Uug to the locals, the two beaches are among Nusa Penida’s most iconic destinations, alongside Kelingking Beach and Crystal Bay.

Angel’s Billabong is a natural infinity pool formed by the cascading waves of the Indian Ocean that have carved out a stunning rock formation. It is characterized by crystal-clear turquoise waters, dramatic cliffs, and surreal views of the surrounding landscape.
This natural wonder has gained popularity in recent years due to its picturesque beauty and its immersive experience. It has become an Instagram hotspot, attracting visitors from all over the world who seek to capture the perfect shot or simply marvel at its natural splendor.
But Angel’s Billabong is not just about its visual appeal. The name itself suggests a mystical quality, as if you are entering a sacred place. It is believed by locals to be a sacred pool and a gateway to the spirit world, adding an element of mysticism and intrigue to your visit.
