Elephant safari will take you pass through unworldly beauty of natural rice paddies, quant Balinese village, temples and local markets on the scenic drive to Bali elephant camp, located in history village of Carang Sari, birth place Bali national hero ‘ Ngurah Rai ‘ ( name of Bali International Airport ) and only a short distance from the Sangeh monkey forest. Bali elephant camp is situated between the rice paddies, jungle, and Ayung River ( where we also do white water rafting ) and is one of the most natural places in Bali .
Our elephant come from Wai Kanbas ( elephant training center in Sumatra ) and as part of our efforts to conserve this magnificent species, we would like you to learn more about them, go trekking and experience life with our incredible elephants ! by riding our elephants you help us to help other elephants in Sumatra by providing funds for food and land to make sure their homes remain protected.
After enjoying the drive, be welcomed to Bali elephant champ with a refreshing welcome drink at the ‘ Trunk’ and ‘ Mahout ‘ valley view café. Watch the elephant enjoy their morning or afternoon bath and than meet our head mahout to learn about the daily life of a Sumatran elephant as the elephant get saddled up for the explorer or adventure treks.
The Adventurer Short Trek

If you want to be friends with a great Sumatran elephant, then try our shorter adventurer trek! You get to experience the beautiful landscape of our camp as well as venturing out for a trek along edge of the valley of Ayung River. the views are incredible, you may also get to see monkeys and tropical bird in their natural habitat. Look down at the raging Ayung River and discover how much fun riding an elephant can be. Our elephant will also show you his pool as he wades through the water to cool off from the hot sun. feel free to relax and enjoy lunch at the ‘ Trunk ’ and ’ Mahout ‘ cape at the end of the trek and enjoy the stunning valley scenery.

The Explorer Full Trek
The explorer full trek. (currently not available).
Be prepared to see more of the real Bali from the high up on your Sumatran elephant! Pass through tropical plantations of mango, jack fruits, durians, coffee, bamboo and coconuts. Look out for birds and monkeys as you pass through the jungle and see how other animal such as pigs, cows and buffaloes play apart in the daily life far away from the tourist areas. A highlight on the trip is to be invited into the home of local farmer where will enjoy a drink of fresh coconut. This is such a unique and enjoyable trek as you look on your return to the camp. You and your elephant will be a part of the real Balinese experience. When you return to the camp enjoy a delicious western or Balinese 3 course menu at the ' Trunk ’ and ‘ Mahout ’ cape and relax in idyllic surrounding.
